Bringing values to life

Bose set out to bring its values to life for employees around the world. While clearly defined, they often remained abstract in day-to-day work. The challenge was to make them tangible and meaningful, showing how integrity and respect guide decisions and shape behavior. At the same time, these values are deeply rooted in the thinking of founder Dr. Amar Bose. By reconnecting today’s organisation with that legacy, we showed how these principles are not new, but have always been at the core of how Bose operates and innovates.

Character drives innovation

For Bose, innovation has never been just about technology. From the beginning, Dr. Amar Bose believed that character and integrity are what drive long-term success. We reframed these values not as statements, but as principles that guide everyday decisions and shape how innovation actually happens. 

By reconnecting today’s leadership with Dr. Bose’s original words, we created a clear link between past and present. It shows that integrity and respect are not new ideas, but have always been part of how Bose builds, thinks, and moves forward.

Resurrecting the founder’s voice

We brought Dr. Amar Bose back into the conversation, not as a historical reference, but as an active voice within the narrative. The concept was built around perspective, using visual and storytelling layers to introduce each value through a different point of view. From the founder’s original thinking to today’s leadership and the everyday employee, each perspective added depth and context to what these values mean in practice.

By placing these viewpoints side by side, we created a dialogue across time that feels continuous rather than nostalgic. It shows that imagination, integrity, and responsibility are not abstract ideas, but principles that have been lived, challenged, and carried forward. This approach makes the values more relatable, more visible, and easier to recognize in daily work.

A global Essence & Values platform

We developed a global film built on a minimal, design-led approach, where values are introduced through perspective rather than explanation. At first, they remain in the background, not explicitly named. As the story unfolds, they gradually appear, revealed through moments of innovation and decision-making. 

Each value is connected to a specific innovation, making the link between principle and practice clear. These moments are interwoven with reflections from senior leadership, creating a layered narrative that feels both considered and continuous. The result is a film where values are not stated upfront, but discovered, understood, and seen in action.

Inspiring employees worldwide

The film and booklet were rolled out globally as part of Bose’s internal culture programme. The content served as both inspiration and practical guidance, helping leaders and employees align around a shared responsibility: protecting innovation while acting with integrity.

By making culture visible and emotional, the campaign strengthened engagement and reaffirmed Bose’s long-term commitment to ethical innovation.
